The Life & Times of A Southern Girl

So he had no idea who MF Doom was before we met. I used to listen to Doom but didnt really get deep into his stuff until 2 years ago when my coworker started bringing me all of his cds.
So I really paid attention to his lyrical content and was blown away. Doom is the BEST rapper alive. He’s amazing, end of story.
Anyways, Fe was all impressed and started listening too, but he did it to show off to his new DJ friends. They were all thinking he knew all about music since he now loved Doom.
It was all we listened to for an entire year. He eventually bought all his albums and started making it seem like he was a true connoisseur of terrific music.
Eventually when things fell apart, I stopped listening to Doom, cause it reminded me of the time we spent together and I didnt want to focus on the good times so I just stopped listening to Doom. He stole Doom away from me.
But I was listening Slacker radio and Deep fried frenz came on, Doom mentioned having fake friends who only call when they need a favor but are either jealous or backstabbers.
I instantly thought about Fe. How I was always there for him and how he used me for financial and moral support. But how shitty he behaved if I asked for a favor or needed to lean on him, which was extremely rare. He wasnt there for me.
So after hearing that song, those lyrics stuck with me and I just got out all my Doom albums and listened to him all day.
Fuck that, Im taking back Doom and he should just stick with Wu Tang or Jeru cause thats all he listened to when we met.
